Started his own consulting firm at INDORE in 1986 where he designed many small 1 Ton, 2 Ton, 5Ton, Induction melting & Rolling units, major amongst them are MOIRA STEEL, SIMPLEX STEEL, STERLING STEEL, KOTHARI ALLOYS, PRESTIGE GROUP. Most reputed are KESHARI STEEL, KUSUM INGOTS & ALLOYS and ALLIANZ STEEL. He manufactured many 6 High & 4 High Cold Rolling Mills & Hot Strips Mills and exported to CHINA, AFRICA & SOUTHEAST ASIA.
He has good experience in project operation and maintenance of cold rolling mill, automobile, power plant and S.S. pipe manufacturing industries.
1988-89 – Worked in Shri Engineering Corporation, Indore which is ancillary of Eicher Motors, Hindustan Motors Ltd., Pithampur as production and maintenance engineer.
1990-94 – Bajaj Tempo Ltd., Pithampur worked here in body shop, paint shop and fabrication department as production and maintenance engineer.
1995 -2014 – National Steel and Agro Industries Ltd., Ghatabillod distt., Dhar, worked as maintenance head of CRM, galvanizing, cooler coating lines. Also handled the responsibility of purchase head and power plant head, very well executed gas 6 MW (2 MWX3 nos.) power plant project from green field stage as project in charge.
2015-18 - Bhandari Foils and Tubes Ltd., Dewas, worked as General manager and plant head.
He has a vast experience of steel industry. Joined in SAIL (bokaro steel plant) during establishment phase and worked in constructing & commissioning of different units like steel melting shop, hot rolling mills & cold rolling mills. Also worked in operation division from 1975 to 2006 of H.S. mill, plate & sheet shearing lines.
Retired in 2006 from the post of deputy general manager & hence forth worked with Shri. G.N. Sharma in his Magadh Precision Equipment & Grey Engineering consultancy unit where cold rolling mill, hot rolling mill & finished product units i.e., pickling line galvanizing line & mills, slitting lines, rewinding lines are manufactured & commissioned.
He is an ace blast furnace & melting shop expert who has a wide experience in public & private sector.
After completing many prestigious degrees, he joined the JSW Steel Vijayanagar as head of project where he headed the expansion of the plant from 1.6MTPA to 10MTPA in a span of 10 years. After this he moved to JSW Salem as CEO where he proved to be a top management expert. Post leaving Salem, he joined JSW ISPL as plant head and director in charge where he contributed for the plant to become profitable.
Post retirement he has been associated with GNS Engineering as blast furnace & melting shop expert.
He is a prime ground level expert of blast furnace & melting shop with electrical & automation background. He has tremendous experience of installing & managing blast furnaces & Melting Shops
After completing his degree in electrical engineering, he has worked in several reputed companies like Kirloskar Consultants, Bhushan Steel, Uttam Galva and has been at positions of Sr. GM, Sr. DGM & Sr. Manager. He has successfully commissioned several projects like 630m3 blast furnace, 135m2 sinter plant, Revamping Projects of CGL & Pickling Lines, Complete electrical & automation revamping of EAF & LF, Super Galvanizing Line, CCL and many more.
Since his retirement he is associated with GNS Engineering as ground level expert of blast furnace & melting shop.
He is a top-notch metallurgical engineer authority on ferrous process and project management.
Having graduated from IIT, Kharagpur in top honors in 1963. He joined alloy steel plant of SAIL in rolling mill department, after leaving SAIL he joined the famous public sector project company Engineering Project India Ltd. and completed many projects in India & abroad.
In 1997 he joined Jindal group and led the company from front and installed many cold rolling projects
In 2012 he joined BRG group of Kolkata and put up huge hot strip mill and cold rolling mill for stainless steel at Angul, Odisha.
After retirement in 2018 he is associated with GNS Engineering as chief project manager
He is a reputed Stainless Steel expert with vast experience in the industry.
He started his career in 1983 in production planning & controlat SAIL, Salem Steel Plant. After that he became production in charge of Annealing & Pickling Lines, Coil Build-up line & Hood Annealing Furnaces. Post that, he became production in charge of finishing units like Shearing Line, Slitting Line, Sheet Grinding &Polishing Line, Coin Blanking Line, Packing & Dispatch Section. In addition to that he was in charge of Rolling Mills & Grinding Line. During that time, he also did market development activities in promoting the use of stainless steel in various new areas. He became the overall production in charge for CRM in 2005. He was made the Project Manager during the addition of Steel Melting Shop & new Cold Rolling Mill Complex at the time of the expansion of Salem Steel Plant in 2007. During his final tenure in SAIL, Salem Steel Plant in 2015 he became the head of projects coordinating the new projects like Power Plant, Revamping of HRM, New Coin Blanking Line & New Sendzimir Mill.
Since 2017 he has been working in GNS Engineering & looking after the Stainless Steel Projects being a stainless steel expert.
He has the experience of execution of civil projects, designing & checking of the domestic structures, industrial structural, foundations for Mills & Equipments.
After passing out form SGSITS college, Indore he has worked in the structural design consultancies where he has executed various industrial structural analysis and design projects. He has also carried out structural modelling & structural analysis work for preparation of design calculation & structural feasibility reports.
After this he has worked in the companies where he was responsible for execution of various civil & infrastructure projects. Following this he has been working in GEMCO as Senior Civil & Structural Engineer where he has been in charge of civil, structural & foundation engineering of Mills & Sheds.
He is a passionate Mechanical Engineer with diverse experience and expertise.
